Sean Anderson
Sean Anderson joined the Rice University staff in March 2022 as a Quality Control Assistant Coach working with Wide Receivers and Tight Ends, while also serving as Offensive Recruiting Coordinator. He previously coached in the XFL with the D.C. Defenders, where he sent three players back to the NFL. He currently has former players on active rosters with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns.
Anderson spent three seasons at Alabama State as Wide Receivers Coach, developing one of the top passing units in the SWAC and mentoring future NFL receiver Michael Jefferson. He also coached at Mississippi Valley State, Benedict College, Campbellsville, Northwestern State, Lincoln University, and Jackson State, where he guided multiple All-Conference players and future pros.
A native of St. Louis, Anderson played wide receiver and ran track at William Jewell College, where he earned his degree in Mass Communications.
